Once the location of Vini Wine Bar, Davis Wine brings the same enthusiasm to wine seekers in the Davis area and beyond. The perfect walking distance from both the Amtrak station and the UC Davis campus, Davis Wine is located near the hustle and bustle of E Street Plaza, on the comparatively quiet 2nd Street block.

If you wish to dine on our patio, weather conditions permitting, the people watching is sure to make for a fun time. At night, enjoy the sights of the Varsity Theatre, as well as our patio lights, and the Davis residents going about their evenings. During the summers, scenic sunsets overhead set the mood, and our wine seals the deal for a good time. ​

Inside, we are proud to host several pieces by local artist Stephen Giannetti, whose unique techniques yield texturally and visually rich images. To our other wall, a collection of art prints of the Parisian Willi's Wine Bar, a variety of styles providing intrigue above our timeless wine racks — some of which may be hiding your next favorite wine.
Meet Our Team
Jared Winter is Lead Sommelier and General Manager of Davis Wine Bar. For nearly two decades, Jared has been an active part of not only the wine industry, but also those of cheese and beer. As a recent Food Science and Technology alumnus of UC Davis, he plays a vital role in the shaping of the menu and singlehandedly selects every wine present at Davis Wine. Want recommendations?
